Funny Limerick Poem

You don't have to be a famous poet to compose a funny limerick poem - my dad, who was a school teacher and principal for over 70 years, created the following clean funny limerick. It has remained a favorite of my kids over many decades!

Keep in mind this was composed long before the days of cell phones - the poor guy had no choice but to ....well, read it and find out!

Humorous Limerick:
Car Troubles!

There once was a man named Muvett
Who lived in the city of Lovett
But his car broke down
Two miles out of town
And Muvett had to shove it to Lovett!
